It’s not always easy to find the time to check in with yourself & review how things are going with your languages.
We get stuck in language learning when we reach new heights.
When we find ourselves needing to explore new & different approaches to keep moving forward & making the progress we want.
Don’t stop here. Keep going forward with Grace & Space.

Everything released Monday morning so you can watch anytime throughout the week.
No timezone translations necessary.
Other peoples’ expectations of how you should learn a language shouldn’t make you feel guilty.
In this session, you’ll learn how to move beyond limiting expectations of others (& yourself), and create your own that actually serve you.
When life is busy & languages take a back seat it can be tricky to stay positive about your progress.
As well as learning how to navigate languages throughout different seasons of life, you’ll also be introduced to the seasons of language learning.
So you can confidently keep going even when it feels like you’ve got no chance at fluency right now.
Shame holds far too many language learners back from confident fluency.
In this session, you’ll learn the ways shame can show up for language learners, and how to move past it.
Procrastination, breaks, distractions…the pressure to always be “on” when it comes to your languages makes you feel like a bad language learner.
The truth is that distractions aren’t evil! You can still learn languages even when you often get distracted.
Your ticket for Grace & Space also includes access to an Open Group Support Chat via Voxer, where you’ll be able to get asynchronous support from me all week between 12-18 August 2024. Ask your questions, connect with like-minded learners, and get support direct from me, Lindsay.

Grace & Space is an online virtual retreat. This is a chance to pause & refresh your approach to language learning. Your ticket gives you full access to all pre-recorded sessions between 12-31 August 2024. As well as the 4 brand new sessions, your ticket also entitles you to join Lindsay and other Grace & Space attendees in an Open Group Support Chat hosted on Voxer – asynchronous support as and when you need for a whole week between 12-18 August 2024.
If you’re reading this, it’s probably designed for you! I work with ambitious, open-minded, smart language learners. People who have an idea of how language learning works but are ready to go deeper with that understanding.
It doesn’t matter which languages you’re learning, how many, or how long you’ve been learning. All languages and all abilities are welcome!
There’s a lot of information out there already. With Grace & Space, it’s not about bombarding you with an overwhelming choice of sessions and speakers and new information. Phew.
Instead, it’s about providing truly useful knowledge that will get you feeling confident rather than overwhelmed.
Grace & Space consists of four pre-recorded sessions. Recordings will include English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese subtitles.
Attendees are encouraged to participate with the Open Group Support Chat, which is asynchronous so no need to book out hours on your calendar!
No. Grace & Space is suitable for learners of all languages. Yay!
Grace & Space starts on 12th August, when you get access to the four pre-recorded sessions.
The Open Group Support Chat will be open for that entire week from 12th to 18th August.
Your extended access to the sessions in Grace & Space lasts until the end of August.
Nope! All language levels are welcome. The only language you’ll want to understand well is English as this will be the language of instruction.
Due to the live nature of the event, refunds are not available.
I do languages. And I’m on a mission to teach you how to learn a language. Yes, you! Grace & Space is a big part of that mission because it’s all about finding your way with languages and still making progress. Win win, huh?
I’ve recently completed my MA in Applied Linguistics and spent the past 2 decades plus of my life learning languages. So I know a thing or two about how to do this thing.
When I’m not sharing how to learn languages on the internet, I’m trying new-to-me sports (because being a beginner is the best!), hunting down vintage jewellery, and playing with my tortoise Gonzo (who speaks a grand total of zero languages).
